Mortgage Tree Surveys

When you buy a new home, you will need to have a Homebuyers Survey which establishes the condition of the house for your mortgage lender. If there are trees on the land which could potentially cause damage in the future, then you may be asked to commission a Homebuyers Mortgage Tree Report.

Our experienced Arborists are based in Nottingham and can travel across the UK to provide this service.

Homebuyers Mortgage Tree Report

In most cases having a mature garden with trees is an asset and adds to the value of a property. But if there is any concern about potential future damage that a tree may cause or a veteran tree compromises the safety of the occupants then a Homebuyers Mortgage Tree Report is required.

We will conduct a BS:5837 tree survey and check:

  • • The health and condition of the tree
  • • Whether there is a risk of subsidence
  • • Hazards arising from falling branches
  • • Impact on the drives and pathways

If any remedial work is required, we can advise on how best to do this to preserve the tree. If the tree needs to be cut down, then we can produce a report explaining the reasons for this action.

Tree Surveys if you are selling your house

If you are selling your home and you think there may be an issue with mature trees on your land, then you can request a Homebuyers Mortgage Tree Survey. This will help speed up the sale of your house once a prospective buyer has been found.

We are based in Nottingham so can easily travel to any part of the UK if needed. For a Homebuyers Mortgage, Tree Survey contact us by calling 0333 2104420 or email hello@quayleindustries.co.uk
